I am trying to help my son. He is interested in becoming an autopsy technician, but I have concerns. I would like him to job shadow around deceased bodies, however we are not having any luck with any of our local funeral homes or coroner’s. Would you have any suggestions? I am concerned that he won’t have any exposure till he is already in a forensic college and then what happens if he can’t handle the actuality of a body?? We live on the east side of Washington in a smaller town, like a 1 funeral home kinda town. Not many options over here.
